Answers to Questions You May Have
This collaboration is built on a foundation of decades-long partnership, dating back to 1963 when Krohn Clinic donated the hospital. BRMH, now, operates as a private non-profit, 501(c)(3). Though both organizations have been independent for decades, they have shared a common mission of improving healthcare and promoting wellness throughout Jackson County.
This union represents the unity and strength Krohn Clinic and BRMH will gain- not only as two organizations joining together, but as a community. It underscores that we are all in this together- patients, healthcare providers, and community members, alike. As Krohn Clinic and BRMH have in the past, Black River Health will continue to work to create a healthier community and to solidify our role as the trusted healthcare provider of choice.
As of December 30th, 2024, like Black River Memorial Hospital, Black River Health will be incorporated as a private, non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization. Black River Health will encompass all of the services provided at Krohn Clinic and BRMH.
On and after December 30th, 2024, all services provided by Krohn Clinic and Black River Memorial Hospital will be billed by Black River Health. Patients will continue to receive an invoice from Krohn Clinic for services provided on or before December 29th.
No. The names, services and care providers for which you have become so familiar will remain the same. Both organizations will exist under the umbrella of Black River Health.
It will not. In fact, by combining resources, we expect to strengthen existing partnerships, which will significantly benefit our community. We aim to bring in more providers, offer more specialties, and improve more lives each year.
Our hope is the only change you will notice is the name on the bill--- Black River Health. You will continue to see the same trusted providers and care teams you always have. And, as we organize our resources to serve our community, we are working with employees, processes, and technology to give you more support and improved access to services as Black River Health.
